Learn to Conserve

Make conservation a daily part of your life. For instance when you finish putting gas in your tank don’t just hang the hose back up. Before you remove the handle from your gas tank, lift the hose so the gas still in the hose drains into your tank.

How much can this tip save you? Probably only a couple of cents per fill up. The point is to get in the habit of making every purchase count. It’s not wrong to know the value of you money. Living cheaply does not mean going without, it means doing more with the resources and assets you have.

“Waste not, want not” is a trusted proverb for a reason – it works.
